New Vanilla Skates

Several of the new Vanilla skates arrived just as our tradeshow was ending.  The following skates are now in stock:

Caution Tape Limited Edition – The newest color scheme in their Junior Limited Edition line.  This one is shiny black with a yellow Caution Tape design.  All sizes (3-9) are now in stock, but we only have one pair of sz 6.  More should be coming soon.

We still have a few sizes left on the Tiffany Limited Edition.  Sizes 3, 4, 5, and 8 are still available.

Assassin – Their entry level inline speed skate.  The boot is black, fully heat moldable, half carbon fiber, half fiberglass.  The frame takes 4 100mm wheels, which are black with a red core.  We have sizes 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 in stock now.

Green Machine – This is also a half carbon fiber, half fiberglass heat moldable boot.  The frame is a 3x110mm 1x100mm design, and the bearings are Vanilla Swiss.  Sizes 5-12 are in stock now.

Hero – Vanilla’s top-of-the-line model has a 4x110mm frame design and a full carbon fiber boot.  The bearings are Vanilla Ceramic.  Sizes 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 are in stock now.  This one has more features than other skates that cost much more.

On an unrelated note, we heard a tip at the tradeshow that we thought we would pass on.  Some rinks are putting a dryer sheet in their rental skates to help fight odor.  Take the sheets out right before handing the skates to your customer, store them on the rental rack, and then put them back in when the skates come back to you.  The sheets are pretty inexpensive, so trying it out won’t cost much.

We are wholesale only and are not allowed to sell to skaters or to quote prices. For info on purchasing skates please look in your phone book under "skating rink" or click here.

Always skate smart. Use appropriate protective gear. If you're not an experienced skater then learn to skate indoors at a roller skating rink. It's a flat and smooth surface with no traffic to deal with. We strongly encourage you to take lessons (most skating rinks offer them).
