Powell-Bones has two new bearings. The Super Red bearing is a step up from the Bones Red and is in stock now. The Ceramic Super Red bearing is between the Bones Swiss and the Ceramic. This one isn’t ready yet, but hopefully we’ll see it later in July.
Sure-Grip has released a line of protective pads. These are beefier than the standard recreation skating pads, they should work great with the derby skaters out there. They’re available in small, medium, and large. The knee pads are also available in extra-large.
Sure-Grip is also working on a line of bearings. They’ll be called “Cube Bearings”. We don’t have a lot of details yet, no date and no price; we’ll let you know as soon as we learn more.

July Special: For the month of July only, if you buy at least 200 replacement cushions for your rental skates, we’ll give you a set of inline hockey wheels (Hyper or Krypto, older graphics, our pick). Good only while supplies of the wheels last, and you must mention this flyer when placing the order. Hopefully this will encourage everyone to do some summer rental skate maintenance.

We are wholesale only and are not allowed to sell to skaters or to quote prices. For info on purchasing skates please look in your phone book under "skating rink" or click here.
Always skate smart. Use appropriate protective gear. If you're not an experienced skater then learn to skate indoors at a roller skating rink. It's a flat and smooth surface with no traffic to deal with. We strongly encourage you to take lessons (most skating rinks offer them).
