Roller Skate Rink

If you’re going to be in Las Vegas for the RSA Convention, join us Tuesday night for the annual Sure-Grip / Roller Derby / Distributors rink appreciation party. Featuring food, door prizes, music, etc., this is a great chance to mingle with everyone in a relaxed setting.

Our tradeshow this year is October 5 and 6. This is a great chance to meet with vendors and other rink operators. Please mark your calendars now.

Sure-Grip is introducing a new line of bearings called the Qube Bearings. Pronounced “cube”, the name comes from the phrase “Quality Utilizing Better Equipment”. They used a 3D modeling process to digitally map each bearing. Each of these is available in 7mm or 8mm and come packed in a cube shaped box..

Qube Pink - An ABEC5 rated bearing, a portion of proceeds go to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.

Qube Juice - With a labrynth shield and SSL oil. A fast rolling bearing at a great price.

Qube 8-Ball - Patterned after the Fafnir bearings of the late 1970s.

Qube Gold Swiss - Their fastest rolling bearing.

Qube Ceramic - Ceramic balls and a light grease combine for a very low maintenance and long lasting combo.

Roller Derby’s Platinum Rentals are the first rental skates that you can customize with your own color scheme. You get to pick the colors and also put your logo on the ankle area of the boot. Because of the customization, there is a 300 pair minimum order requirement. They’re now also doing a stock version of this skate, with no minimums. On the stock version, the boots are beige, with blue on the backstay, lace area, and toe. We’re stocking this version, with no minimum order requirements. These are available as complete skates or as replacement boots.

Always skate smart. Use appropriate protective gear. If you're not an experienced skater then learn to skate indoors at a roller skating rink. It's a flat and smooth surface with no traffic to deal with. We strongly encourage you to take lessons (most skating rinks offer them).
