Here are some notes on new items from our tradeshow. If you were able to attend then this is a review, if not then there are a lot of new items to go over.
Roller Derby introduced a lot of new skates as well as some lighted wheels. The skates are all in stock now, the wheels should arrive soon.
Nitro - This skate is an entry level speed skate with a soft padded collar and a velcro power strap on a black boot. It is available in sizes 13J-8.
RTS330 - This one is a step up from the Nitro with a Torsion Beam plate, padded comfort collar, ankle support, and 58mm Highway Speed wheels. It comes in sizes 1-12.
Hornet G60 - This is Pacer’s new speed skate with a lot of premium features. The nylon chassis has chrome coating, the bearings are carbon steel ABEC3 quality, and the boot looks great. This one is available in black (1-12) or white (1-10).
Fandango - This is the skate that some of you saw at the Tampa convention. This is a higher cut art skate with a leather boot that is really reminiscent of the old-school skates from the 70s. The plate is gold plated, the wheels have gold cores, and the bearings are ABEC5. This skate comes in its own briefcase style platinum colored carrying case that makes a very attractive counter display. Some of the customers that have seen this skate were pretty excited about this one. This comes in black (4-13) and white (4-12).
Firefly Wheels – These are clear wheels that light up when they spin. The wheels are clear and the graphics are real simple, so the focus is really on the lights. These wheels come in packs of four and they have ABEC3 Chrome bearings already installed. They come in a 62mm or 58mm. He didn’t bring many of these with him, they sold out, but we should be getting more in a few weeks.
Hyper has purchased the Variflex company. This is a maker of lower end skates and other products. We have a couple of their inline skates in stock now and we’ll be getting some skateboards in stock soon.
The Shredder is an adjustable children’s skate. It comes in small (fits sizes 10J-13J) and medium (fits sizes 1-4). The Reactor is an adult skate with ABEC3 bearings and 72mm wheels. It comes in sizes 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11. We’ll have more info soon about their skateboards, but they’ll have some very inexpensive children’s boards as well as some nicer quality complete boards for teens and adults that aren’t too expensive. As soon as we know more we’ll let you know, but this might be an interesting item to pick up on for Christmas.
Sure-Grip is coming out with new colors for two of their wheels. The 50-50 wheel now comes in a pink-black version. The Twister now comes in yellow-white, black-white, purple-white, and pink-white versions. These are in addition to the versions they have been offering.
The new Quad catalogs are now back from the printer and ready to ship. Please ask for some with your next order. They are still working on the Inline, we hope to get them soon.
We have a lot of new Halloween novelty items. We just posted them on our www.supercoolstuff.com site, if you need pics or details they're up.

We are wholesale only and are not allowed to sell to skaters or to quote prices. For info on purchasing skates please look in your phone book under "skating rink" or click here.
Always skate smart. Use appropriate protective gear. If you're not an experienced skater then learn to skate indoors at a roller skating rink. It's a flat and smooth surface with no traffic to deal with. We strongly encourage you to take lessons (most skating rinks offer them).
